Closing Our Hotline and Looking Ahead

After deep reflection, collective dialogue, and thoughtful consideration of what we’ve been hearing from our community, REP has made the difficult decision to close our hotline permanently. This choice was informed by our capacity and by the evolving needs of the community we serve—it was not made lightly. The hotline has been one way we’ve held space for care, connection, and possibility; we honor everyone who reached out, trusted us, and moved alongside us through it. And a special thank you to all the CARERS throughout these years.

As an abolitionist, relationship-centered organization, we remain committed to tending to our community in ways that are sustainable, meaningful, and aligned with our capacity. While this chapter is coming to a close, we are hopeful and energized about cultivating new offerings that reflect our vision and the needs we continue to hear from the people we serve. We invite you to stay connected through our studios and other offerings as we share what’s next and continue building relationships that make liberation and collective care possible.

Regarding hotline signs: you can choose to keep them, but we encourage removing them from your yard, as they no longer reflect REP’s current services and may unintentionally confuse community members who are seeking support.

With Care,

The REP Team
